The Custom Vinyl CA-55 Casement / Awning is part of a complete family available in New Construction and Replacement.

Our Casement / Awning is designed to provide a traditional look typified in American architecture. High performance hardware and operability make this window a long lasting solution for casement or awning windows.

The window can accomodate several glazing options and comes in new construction or replacement configurations. The beveled exterior sash design provides visual interest and classic detailing.

A mark of superior quality, color-stabilized, in-house vinyl formula adds outstanding stain, fade and impact resistance to our windows.

Accessory profiles join window units, finish interior and exterior openings and adapt to different wall conditions Accessory channels allow profiles such as 5/4x4 to be applied at the factory.

• Fusion Welded - Frame and sash corners are miter cut and fusion welded to eliminate joints that may loosen or leak and provide protection from air and water penetration.

SUMMARY OF WINDOW SERIES

Custom Vinyl Products builds three series of operating windows:

  • The first profile has an integral J-channel to accept vinyl siding
    • 57 Series single hung and slider
    • 57 Series double hung
  • The second profile has a beveled face with an accessory groove on the outside of the window for brickmold or 5/4X4 to be attached to the frame during production.
  • This series can be used for replacement applications
    • 46 Series single hung and slider
    • 55 Series double hung
  • The third profile is the casement that can be built with or without the J-channel. It can be adapted to accept brickmold or 5/4X4 and can be used for replacement applications
    • 55 Series casement

Each profile has a corresponding picture window, which can be used for standard fixed units as well as block window units and architectural shapes.

Custom Vinyl Products offers complete installation service for both new construction and replacement applications.

New construction installation consists of the following:

  • Checking for proper rough opening dimensions
  • Caulking behind the nailing fin of the window
  • Window tape around the perimeter of the window per industry specifications
  • Pricing quoted by job
