What to Do for Your CVP Install Crew

Tips to Get Ready for New Windows & Doors

In preparation for your install date, please review this short video and home prep checklist. These resources explain what you can expect and also cover some basic guidelines for a safe and efficient installation day.

Installation Home Prep Checklist

  1. Arrange for someone (at least 18 years old) to be on-site for the duration of the scheduled work.
  2. Clear a three (3) foot working radius around each window and/or door – interior and exterior. This includes providing a clear path of egress to and from the work area.
  3. Remove all window or door coverings (curtains, blinds, etc.).
  4. Secure your pets and move fragile items away from the work area.
  5. Make arrangements to disconnect and reconnect your security system, if applicable.
  6. Obtain Homeowners’ Association approval, if applicable.
