How We’re Managing Delays and Shortages
Throughout the COVID pandemic, we’ve remained at full capacity and kept our team fully employed. As a regional manufacturer, our in-house production capabilities and full-time installation team give us more control over our product line and schedules than many other companies in our industry.
That said, we’re dealing with the same supply chain issues impacting American manufacturing as a whole. Several of our suppliers are operating at a reduced capacity. With one supplier in particular, our lead times have increased from 4 weeks to 11 weeks without notice.
In response, our executive team has taken proactive steps to address these challenges. We’ve worked hard to eliminate raw material single points of failure. We’ve also built up our standing inventory of supplies. Plus, we continue to source all materials from US-based suppliers. These actions are helping CVP anticipate and mitigate supply chain disruptions. Today, we’re continually and consistently delivering on our commitments, albeit on an extended timeline.
What this Means for You
At the time of contract execution, we provide an estimated delivery or install date range. This timeline is based on the best available information from our suppliers.
As a manufacturer, we special order materials specifically for your custom window & door order. The insulated glass units for your windows are specifically ordered to size. We also have suppliers for our fiberglass doors, shaped windows, paint finishes, and specialized hardware.
When materials for your order are received in full, your order moves to production. At that point, we will confirm a date for installation or product delivery.
Rest assured that we are diligently working to manage and fulfill your order. We’re also improving the ways we stay in communication with you throughout the process.
